Xime de Coster was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, around about 1979, when others still had to tie up her shoelaces. To date, she has worked as a journalist but was sacked for not having a more anthropological view of culture. Shortly, her anthology “Poems for sad girls without dreams” will be published by Orem in Peru. She has self-published a CD of her collection cacalapoesía and her book Intrauterina was published by Anidia in Spain. These last examples have been liberated by the author and her followers on the web to either joy or martyrdom, depending on the readers that pride themselves in reading them. She writes a column called “Cerebro Paralelo”, telling mental hospital stories, in the literary magazine www.artesurbano.com alongside writers from all corners of the globe.
