Taking the road from that house.

The left side of the highway is like Monaco and

The Formula 1 is a V6 blowing off his head.

From afar, the bridges over the East River

Seem tranquil as a picture postcard

But amidst the cars he feels reckless.

Windows down, a tearing wind

80 mph and Good heavens, my son, someday you’ll kill yourself

At times he leads this racing life

Between the dark temple and the tracks.

A love of adrenaline, he said.

80 mph, the husband grows ever nearer.

At night, going fast

Between speed and surrounding terror

He loses himself
